It was small airport, however it met the needs of Avelo airlines and their purpose. I have would use the facility again.

Smaller airports are so much better! No crowds and waiting time is so much shorter.

Tweed Airport not ready for travelers.

Arriving at Tweed the plane does not have a covered ramp to the terminal. You have to walk on the tarmac and it was a little confusing where to enter the terminal. The baggage ramp was right there as you enter the terminal which was good and rental car desk was there also but only two workers and signage was poor. Upon departing from Tweed, you travel on many small streets to get to the airport. Poor signage for rental return. I had to exit the airport and re-enter to get into the correct car line to return car. Poor signage to enter terminal which appeared like dirty buildings under renovation. Had to go to another building to get boarding pass and counter person caused us extreme stress saying we could not check both bags (which we had paid extra to check already) saying one bag must be carry on, which would not have been small enough to do! Then told us cargo door was closed and our bags would not be with us. Finally agreed to check them after our arguing. Plane actually had just arrived, one hour late, and no bags had begun to be put onboard and no passagers were boarded yet. All were standing waiting in a small area. No refreshments available. Much confusion. Staff appeared disoriented and stressed out. We may never use Tweed again.

Overcrowded

The airport can definitely use some upgrades and more workers when checking in. The lines were slowed due to a slow check in process.

Way too small for the amount of people!

Terrible

I am sure that this airport was fantastic back in 1971, but it seems to be ill-equipped to handle the travel of a major airline.
